Yes, I know I'm so slow to know the news. But then again, since when Malaysian National TV is fast to broadcast live shows?

OMG I can't believe Danny Gokey didn't get into the finals! I can't believe Kris Allen got into the finals!! And okay, I didn't start watching AI until the episode before the semi finals so I can't really say much about how they fared throughout the contest.
But comparing between the three, I feel that Danny and Adam should have been the two finalist instead of Kris and Adam!! It's no question that Adam is to be in the finale. So I shall not talk much about him.

I mean, Adam obviously has the strongest voice among the three and he dishes out great performances no matter what song choice is thrown at him because he's so uber sexy and confident and has the cutest smile ever.

Comparing between Danny and Kris instead, I personally feel that Danny's performances had a more lasting impact on the audiences. I mean, sure, he's somewhat prone to have problems with his pitching, and the "scream" he did during the semi finale (or was that the episode before the semi finale?) was not exactly something that I'd love to hear again.
But there's no doubt that he have a great voice. His version of "You are so beautiful" was, for lack of words, simply beautiful.
On a side note, what's with Dannys' scraggy, unshaven looks? Not that he doesn't look good in it (coz I can't imagine him with a totally clean shaved look), and besides, it suits him really well. But still, as handsome as he is (yes I do find him handsome haha), I can't help but feel that he looks scraggy at times.

Oh, and it's probably just me, but doesn't Danny Gokey's name reminds you of the word karaoke? (because westerns pronounce it as carry-okie). Okay, enough yakking because I'm having a big feeling that I'll be mobbed and stabbed by Danny's fans soon.
Now, on to the reason why I feel that Kris would not make it to the finals - he does not leave a good and lasting impression on me whatsoever.

Now don't get me wrong, his voice is good, though it isn't as powerful as Adam's. But what's more important in this stage of the competition is how strong you move the audiences. I mean, when I listen to him sing I'm not getting the OMG-it's-so-good-I'm-getting-goosebumps! vibe.
Also, like I said, it isn't memorable and is easily forgotten. Maybe it's just me though, seeing as how he'd made it to the finals with Adam. Heck, he might have been the underdog, but he might emerge as the next American Idol.
Hey, anything is possible.
Still, I can't change the fact that Danny is voted out. It's probably for the better, since I feel bad rooting for Adam when they're competing against each other. (not that I can vote anyway wtf =.= )
