Why the sudden update?

Coz I feel like it. =)


In the past 6 months, I;

• Graduated with an honours degree five days before my 20th birthday. *ish smug*

• Lived a carefree life for 3 months. (God, that was bittersweet. It was dreadfully boring, yet blissfully stressfree. apart from my parents' naggings)

• Started working. (on contract. But still...)

• Gotten my official first pay. It fatten up my bank account nicely. XD

• Had a major ego boost thanks to my colleagues telling me that I'm pretty.

• fell in love/had a major crush on a colleague - whom I found out to be 13 years my senior.

• had a confession from a colleague who is one head shorter than me.

• had my laptop, cash, and jewelleries stolen when my house was burglarized.

• had a hell of a torturing month when my house was under renovation.

• am still having a hell of a month due to all the house cleaning and my brothers' wedding preparation.

• had an offer to work under a marketing team but rejected it... and am regretting it.

• had another offer to work for a company in Jalan Meru but rejected it as well ("I'm confident we can give you a better offer than your company. Come over when you are free and we can discuss again!" - Gosh, listening to that felt so goooooood), and am having that "what if..." thought in my mind...

• transfered to my company's headquarters and am under probation period (and alot of stress too) right now.

• realised that Accounting is definitely not my cup of tea.

Also currently, Lysa:

• ish hating my current job right now.

• ish typing this blog post during office hours, because I have no idea what to do next with my current work task and my mentor is busy... >.<

• feels like changing to the marketing department/work in an event organizing team.

• had just met up with my high school friends again after a gazillion years, went to CF '09, and had so much fun! XD

• ish seriously sleep deprived @_@

• wants a holiday... T_T

• ish going back home in a while! XD

Holyshyt! I so love online surfing.

Was looking for MOG Eyeware's telephone number for my brother when I came across THIS.

It's a weblog that lists down all sales/megasales/warehouse sales in Malaysia! Took me long enough! Geez, I could've had multiple shopping sprees if I'd known about this earlier!

But it's okay because Malaysia's Mega Sale Carnival is finally here! Starts from 4th July till 31st August, it's going to be wicked!

And since dad gave me a credit card... hehehe

*ahem* I guess it's time for me to fill my wardrobe with office wears...

For now, lets see how I can arrange my schedule for tomorrow... I so want to check out the books, toys and cloths!!

Yes, I know that an update is way overdue. I've given the celcom broadband USB modem back to my brother, so I'm not able to come online and update whenever I want. It's such a hassle.

Besides, there's so many things happening simultaneously (which is mentally affecting me quite badly.) that I'm having difficulties writing all of it down and to slowly censor out more personal parts. Will probably get on to it seriously and get a proper post up within this coming week.

Anyway...

I may have just found a job that I'm relatively happy to work with. Will update more about it if I feel like it. =P For now, I'm keeping my fingers tightly crossed.

Also, I may just be able to get my hands on a Juicy Couture bag! Replica or the real deal, it will depend on the price that the dealer in Lowyat forum is giving me for the original JC bag that I'm interested with.

IF - and that's a big if - the price quoted is reasonable (I have the currency exchange website to know how much it exactly costs. So if she were to charge me slightly higher for handling fees, I won't mind.) then I'd go for the real Juicy.

Or else, I'll settle for a just as pretty but way cheaper JC replica bag.

Though for the money I'm spending to get that replica, I might as well top up a few hundred bucks for the original. Oh please, please let the dealer quote me a reasonable price! I'd so rather get an original JC bag than a fake replica!

Dad bought a semi-professional camera for the family. A Panasonic Lumix FZ28, me thinks. Pictures are lovely, but really, the thing is so bulky I wouldn't even take it out of the house.

Since the family already have a camera, I guess I won't be getting the high end Panasonic Lumix DMC-FT1 anymore. Will probably get the FT15 instead when I deem necessary. It's not that I don't like the semi-pro camera (I'm such a bitch, ain't I? Some would be happy that they even HAVE a camera and here I am complaining about a camera that I've pretty much gotten free) but what I want now is a camera which I can bring about easily, instead of one that could not even fit into my bag. More rants regarding this in future posts, since I'm really unhappy about it.

And although initially sceptic, my bro seem to love the thing now. So whatever, it seems like I won't even get to use the camera whether I like it or not.

Had dinner with my brothers' girlfriends' parents together with my parents and Uncle Francis to celebrate Fathers Day.

Went to Klang Seafood restaurant, since the seafood restaurant that we had initially plan to go was fully booked to the brim. (Seriously. Recession or not, Klang [Chinese] people go MAD when it comes to good seafood restaurants)

I realised that while I'm not a terribly good food taster (actually, I sucked at food tasting) and am pretty much flexible with what goes into my stomach, I've been rather (note: VERY) picky with what I eat lately.

While everyone was all praising the dinner that they just had, I thought that although the steamed fish was very fresh, the meat was not as smooth as I expected it to be.

The mixed vege (cauliflower + broccoli + green peas + prawn + some other vege I can't remember) was quite hard... I'd prefer that they cook/steam it slightly longer.

And urgh! The "kam heong" crabs tasted more like curry powder crabs! I would not complain about the crabs being old, hence having EXTREMELY HARD SHELL, because really, that's no one's fault.

But geez, crabs are my favourite seafood (after fish)! The place being jam packed isn't a reason for them to slack off on any given dish! If it weren't for my brother and dad who kept giving me pieces of crabs that they had so nicely cracked the shell off, I would not have taken more than 2 piece of the dish.

On a side note, isn't it ironic that a Cancerian loves eating crabs? Gosh, I feel kinda bad about eating crabs now... but not enough to stop anyway. Soft shell crabs! =D~

Cosmo Clock 21

Anyone watched Honey and Clover anime? If you did, you'd understand my following rants. =)

I was checking my email a moment ago and I came across a forward message from Wing entitled "Nice Night View of Japan". Not suspecting anything, I opened it and waited for it to load patiently... 

... and instantly felt like I was being slapped awake by what I saw. 

Oh, don't get me wrong. It was a night view alright. A really nice one at that too.

 It's just that... when I saw it, I immediately knew that I've seen it before. 

Dejavu 

That's right. It's from Honey and Clover anime series. (Episode 19 and 20, Honey and Clover season 1. I found the  episodes through Google. I didn't memorize the whole series, I swear!)

It's so pretty, isn't it? Certainly brings back memories of the time when I was watching the series. It taught me many valuable lessons about love, and life. The choices we have to make, the roads we have to take. 

So I went to Google and search for the place the ferris wheel is at, and found out that it's called Cosmo Clock 21. (Don't ask me why its name is such. I don't know! @_@) 

Cosmo Clock 21, Yokohama Cosmo World, Yokohama city, Japan. 

That's another reason for me to visit Japan, I suppose. I never knew that the ferris wheel was based on an actual one. (or maybe my general knowledge is just staggeringly poor) 

And okay, I'm not exactly the type who loves a slow, boring ride such as the ferris wheel. 

But now that I know about its existence, I'd love to take a ride in it!! Hopefully with someone whom I love dearly, though an emotional ride alone would be nice too. 

After all, having "15 minutes separated from the world" (that's how long it takes for Cosmo Clock 21 to make a one full turn) would do a lot for me to think about what the series had taught me. I still had a lot of growing up to do, mental-wise. And God knows how much I love to have my own personal space and time when I needed to think and sort out my feelings and personal goals in life. 

But either way, I WANT TO GO TO JAPAN AND RIDE THAT FERRIS WHEEL!!

I'm keeping my fingers crossed. =D

P/S: Does anyone know if Honey and Clover J-drama had the same scene in the series? It'll be so awesome if it does!
