No, I'm not done with my blog "renovation" yet. I didn't really work on it today (assuming it's still Thursday) because I was pretty much spazzing over receiving an email today asking me to go for an interview tomorrow afternoon.

Oh, and also the fact that my Facebook account was somewhat hacked (who'd hack into an account to change its status, delete a few of the poor souls' latest wall posts, send random PM to strangers, and not change the password of the account? Maybe I'm just being lucky.), and as if that isn't bad enough, I heard over the radio that Kris Allen won American Idol over Adam Lambert.

Which, I have to say, had pretty much pushed me over the edge. But that's another story to be told some other time.

Anyway, was checking out for videos of SYTYCD Season 5. (for the uninitiated, it stands for So You Think You Can Dance) I was pretty dissapointed with what I found - there's no video updates, only preview and teasers!

Gah, I suppose no one is really interested in the auditions. Hopefully things will start to pick up now that the Idol fever is somewhat over.

Oh, but I did manage to stumble upon this. I know you're lazy to click on the link so I pasted it here! See, I'm such a kind soul =P

Nigel is tweeting as @dizzyfeet and he just dropped another crumb of information about the show into his Twitter feed: apparently, Emmy-award winnter Wade Robson will be back for season 5 as well! Or to be more exact:
"Having breakfast in the hotel.Paso orange juice tastes better than LA. Did I tell you Wade's back this Season? Remind me to tell you things!"

I'm so excited! This video of Wade's group of dancers from the Cris Angel production preparing their twisted bunny routine for SYTYCD is a glimpse into the choreography and rehearsal process:

[Lysa: Video taken off. It's not good to steal the bandwidth of others!]

I think Nigel is a very savvy producer, and he has twigged immediately to the power of social networking tools like Twitter for releasing teasers to the fans (Shane's back! Wade's back!). I will be interested in seeing what other kinds of remarks he (and other judges, former contestants, audience members) make via Twitter. Yes, there will be scoops, little nuggets of information to get us warmed up, and there will also be spoilers and food for the "grassy knoll" thread over on Television Without Pity, where speculation about judges/producers supposed manipulations of the audience is a sport. This is shaping up to be a fun season, and not just because of the anticipation of the dancing!

So what other questions do you have for dizzyfeet? I asked Lil "C" if he were returning, but didn't get a reply. How about Sonyah Tayeh who choreographed "The Garden" for Mark and Courtney, a fan favorite? Which is your favorite Wade (and Amanda) routine on SYTYCD?

Woot!!! Wade is back! I'm so glad Wade is helping out with SYTYCD again this season! His choreography and dance routines for Cirque du Soleil was totally awesome, and I love the dance he choreographed for the final 4 in Season 3 using Justin Timberlake's song, "Sexy Back". It was slightly Micheal Jackson-ish for me, but still very original. It's on Youtube. Watch it, and you'll understand. (Or you can ask me to email it to you, coz of course I'll have the video!)

Nigel's twitter was kinda amusing to read. Love his sense of humour. =D

Oh, and I really do hope that Sonya Tayeh will return to help in this season. I absolutely LOVE "The Garden", the dance routine she choreographed for Mark and Courtney last season. It was so angsty and dark!

As for Lil C... well, I'm not a big fan of hip hop, but I do love his judging. He makes the most random analogies as his feedback, it's so amusing! I mean, who comes up with terms like, "bleeding on the dance floor" when they're commenting about a dance with obvious mistakes? (I think it was regarding Mark and Kerrington's dance) But I do value his opinions because he's honest about it.

Oh, what about Tabitha and Napoleon? Please say they're back too, please please please! They're the only one who can choreograph hip hop routines that I can actually watch and enjoy!

Well, I could go on and on when it comes to SYTYCD. So I think I better stop here. Expect more post and comments on this series as the season goes on!
